A quick and easy way to add colour to your fairy garden is by giving your metal furniture or accessories a coat of spray paint. Not only is it a great way to get your favourite colour into the garden, spray painting can also help to protect the piece from weathering.

Here I’ve gone for a luxurious gold on our brown ornate wire bench to add a bit of glamour to this garden.

We like to spray paint our brown range as it has a nice texture to it, but any of our metal items work well too. If you are painting an existing item that has already weathered, simply give it a light sanding first.
